The Nursing@Simmons online Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program is designed to fit the needs of working licensed nurses. The program includes several features implemented based on student feedback to help working nurses successfully complete their degrees:
- Predictable, Standardized Course Schedules – Live courses are held on the same, designated days of the week throughout the program, for predictable scheduling around work and life.
- Course Delivery That Prioritizes Busy RN Lifestyles – In many courses, the same lectures are hosted multiple times per week, so students can choose which session to attend each week. All live sessions are also recorded and accessible to students.
- Academic Coaching – In addition to their faculty instructor, students benefit from the support of an academic coach — a highly experienced APRN and educator who offers guidance, feedback, and judgment-free advice outside of live course sessions.
Online FNP Program
Our online MSN – FNP program helps RNs who have already earned a bachelor’s degree gain the knowledge and skills they need to advance to FNP roles. Full-time, part-time, and extended program options are available, allowing nurses to balance their work, study, and personal commitments.
